I am a fine artist currently located in Savannah, Georgia. I received my Bachelor of Fine Art degree in 2012 from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and my Master of Fine Art degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 2017.
My practice revolves around the concept that traditional skill and contemporary dialogue can not only exist within the same image, but also that each can greatly strengthen the other. I generally work with oil, acrylic, and encaustic mediums, but collage and a variety of experimental techniques are also employed to push the technical narrative of the work. The major themes present in my work are ideas of identity, personal and collective histories, relationships with place and nature, psychogeography, contemporary mythologies, and the body as subject.
